Dr. Katherine Martinez is a palliative care specialist at Icon Cancer Centre Southport and Mater Private Hospital Redland.
She commenced specialist palliative medicine training in Queensland within Gold Coast, Metro North and Metro South Health Palliative Care Services.
Dar Martinez has completed her Masters of Pain Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2022. She is also a palliative medicine staff specialist at the Redland Hospital where she provides inpatient and consultation liaison support for patients. Dr Martinez maintains a strong interest in medical education and has previously participated in a palliative care educational series for general practice.
Dr Katherine Martinez is committed to upholding the dignity and quality of life of her patients with life-limiting illness. She delivers compassionate and personalised care to her patients and their loved ones with focus on symptom management and supportive care.
Her Clinic Days are Thursday mornings at Mater Cancer Care Centre, Mater Redlands Private Hospital.
