Dr. David Nielsen

Dr Nielsen obtained his medical degree at Griffith university in 2008.  In 2019, he completed orthopaedic surgical training in Queensland.  In 2020 he underwent a PFET-recognised subspeciality spine fellowship with high volume exposure to anterior and posterior spine surgery, including fusion, decompressive surgery, and total disc replacement.  He is a Staff Specialist with Metro South Health at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Redlands Hospital.

Dr Nielsen has been actively involved with spine research since 2003, and has a passion for continuing to investigate, validate, and improve spine surgery and care.
