Dr. Dooris is a Brisbane based Cardiologist providing a consultative service in Cleveland. He is committed to provision of high quality and timely care to patients.
Dr. Dooris graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 1985. He has a Graduate Diploma in Science (Mathematics) from the University of New England.
He undertook physician training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and advanced training in Cardiology at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Prince Charles Hospital. He undertook two post FRACP interventional fellowships in the United States (William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan and Rhode Island Hospital,Rhode Island).
He returned to Australia in 1995 and served as staff cardiologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital from July 1995 to June 2017. He served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Labs from 1995 to 2012.
He has commenced public sessions at the Mater Adult Hospital and has admitting rights to the Mater Private Hospital.
Dr Dooris is committed to ongoing professional development and medical education. He has recently been appointed Director of the Mater Cath Lab.
