Dr David Ramsay

Dr David Ramsay is a Queensland trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who has a special interest in conditions of the hip and knee. After completing his general Orthopaedic training he completed fellowships in Tasmania and Scotland in hip arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement, and revision or complex joint replacements.

Dr Ramsay also manages other general adult orthopaedic conditions, and fractures and minor injuries and children and adolescents.

Dr Ramsay operates at the Mater Redlands Private Hospital, as well as working at the Redlands Public Hospital.

Nonsurgical (fracture clinic) management of upper and lower limb fractures in adults and children of any age.

Generally children under the age of 14 requiring surgical management of fractures will be referred to paediatric orthopaedic surgeons in Brisbane, as the Mater Redlands private hospital is currently unable to offer overnight admission for children in this age group.
