Dr Tyson Doneley
Dr Doneley is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in surgery of the hip and knee. He performs minimally invasive anterior hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, knee reconstruction surgery and sports injury surgery. He is a member of faculty for teaching of minimally invasive anterior hip replacement surgery and lectures regularly on this topic. He has completed multiple lower limb orthopaedic fellowships focused on joint replacement, sports knee surgery and surgical management of arthritis. In 2012, he was the “Hip Research Fellow” at the prestigious Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre located in Exeter, U.K. Prior to this, he was the fellow (hip and knee surgery) at the Gold Coast Centre for Bone and Joint Surgery. He completed medical schooling (University of New South Wales) in 2002, graduating with honours and then completed his orthopaedic training (Queensland) in 2010.
Dr Doneley is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and member of the Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
